I have been sitting on a pile of cash so imagine my excitement when I see that markets are crashing. I spent a fraction of it yesterday and today and put in $30k of new orders, so now I’m sitting here hoping for tomorrow to be a bloodbath so I can buy more.
I personally prefer to spread out the buying a bit because it’s impossible to time bottoms.
I also unwound a bunch of AI trending names that were in loss positions because I doubt they will fully recover due to politics changing the narrative. I debated holding off on them until the Anthropic IPO, but whatever. Michael Burry was right about CRVW and NBIS.
I’m not much of a trader, but I do know that crashes are opportunities for investors that have cash.
A quick and dirty ratio I always look for, is the company’s net debt to ebitda. This just makes sure that the company was responsible on the way up and is equipped to handle bad times.
